You will notice that our builder, FED has posted "Construction Site - Danger - Do Not Enter" signs throughout the 30 acre property as they prepare to break ground on the project. Demolition and excavation work has already begun and we want to thank all of you in advance for abiding by the "Do Not Enter" signs for your own safety.  You will see large equipment and earth moving vehicles on the property any day now. 

We have had some questions from people about walking their dogs, jogging and utilizing the property - and for the next 15-18 months we are asking everyone - VFC'ers and those who do not attend VFC - to please abide by the posted signs. Once our project is complete and we have a chance to hold our Grand Opening and get used to our new property, we will evaluate the best way to reach out to VFC'ers and others who would like to jog, walk or utilize the grounds. So...for the next 15-18 months we appreciate your patience as you find alternate sites for these activities. As an fyi -  through June, these "authorized personnel" will be allowed on site for these events:  EPIC School of Ministry students and Get a Grip on the Basics class students. We appreciate your cooperation with our builder and this request.

Victory!  At long last, on Thursday, May 1, the National Day of Prayer, the Portage Development Staff gave their recommendation for our project and the Planning Commission voted unanimously to grant us the Special Use Permit and Site Plan Approval!
